Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy department prides itself on providing personalized, one-on-one service that is focused on achieving patient goals. Physical therapy works to decrease pain and restore normal movement patterns to allow for optimal function in daily life. You will receive evidenced based treatments from the same therapist every visit for the best continuity of care. The rehab services team at GCHD sees both inpatients and outpatients while working closely with other hospital staff and healthcare providers. Occupational therapy helps individuals regain or develop skills essential for independent living. Our goal is to assist patients in learning or redeveloping skills for day-to-day living. Individuals who may be referred to occupational therapy may have diagnoses such as:

Speech Therapy is a multi-faceted aspect of rehabilitation. It is designed to help individuals with speech or swallowing problems as well as cognitive problems. Persons may be referred to speech therapy for the following diagnoses:
