Stay Local: DX Ultrasound Now Available at GCHD
Garfield County Hospital District’s radiology department installed the Siemens ACUSON Juniper Ultrasound System in August 2021, which enables us to provide basic DX (diagnostic) ultrasound services 24 hours a day.
The ACUSON Juniper is a shared services system that allows GCHD’s sonographer to perform a variety of diagnostic tests with one lightweight, compact machine, while providing powerful capabilities that result in diagnostic confidence for both patients and providers.
GCHD’s radiology department is conveniently located next to the emergency room, and the ACUSON Juniper is used for ER patients, in-house care and referred outpatients.
