As part of both our Transitional Care and outpatient services, Garfield County Hospital District provides special attention for wound healing and prevention.

Our wound care services at GCHD involve every stage of wound management and healing. Types of wounds we manage include:

  • Pressure ulcers

  • Diabetic ulcers

  • Venous or arterial ulcers

  • Surgical wounds

  • Ostomies 

  • Minor burns

  • Many other integument injuries
