My personal experience at GCHD has always been great. I’ve used the ER on several occasions for family emergencies and have been impressed by GCHD’s ability and knowledge every time. I’ve also been treated at the clinic multiple times for family health issues, and they always helped us get to the correct diagnosis or to a specialist that could help. GCHD truly listens and cares about their patients.

Recently, a friend visiting from out of town started experiencing great breathing difficulties. He decided he need to go to the ER and assumed he would have to go to one of the valley hospitals. He was thrilled to learn that Pomeroy has our own ER at GCHD, and he could be seen right here in town. He was relieved to have a doctor and two nurses right there to greet him as he entered the hospital, and were all so impressed and grateful for the thorough and professional medical attention. No stone was left unturned, and GCHD was quick to find the cause of the problem and prescribe a solution that helped his breathing improve quickly. Our area is blessed to have GCHD and this ER.

My parents were at GCHD for over two years. The level of care and love they received was incredible. I have witnessed the staff at GCHD show compassion and care for every patient that stays there, as if those patients were their own family members. The response to someone in need is always fast, which is not the case in many other facilities. The level of dignity shown is high. GCHD is also clean, and the staff is so friendly. It’s obvious the staff really enjoy their job. When my parents were there, I would even go to GCHD and play bingo twice a week. I appreciate they have so many activities for those residing there.

GCHD, thank you for being here for our community. The service and knowledge at GCHD are outstanding. Every time we’ve gone to the ER, we’ve received prompt and professional service. We’ve also been very pleased with the lab team and receptionist. We also have the highest respect for Lacey and the billing department. She has gone above and beyond to assist us with our billing needs.

My brother is a resident at GCHD, and he says it’s like a five-star hotel. The staff at the care center treat every resident with respect and dignity, and they cater to every resident’s unique personality and needs. As a relative, I also feel cared for, as the staff keeps me informed about my brother and his care. The social worker at the care center is caring and a compassionate advocate for all the residents and their families. Please support GCHD – someday, you or a loved one may need it.
